Resume of career with Molly Hatchet
Bruce's first stint with Molly Hatchet ran from 1975-1982. He then rejoined from 1984 - 1990.
This meant that he performed on all of the Hatchet albums of that period, bar "No Guts No Glory". He was replaced on this album by BB Borden, who went on to perform with The Marshall Tucker Band.
For a short period during 1988 - 89, Bruce didn't perform with Hatchet, his place being taken by Scott Zsymoski
Bruce also joined up for Jammin' for DJB a couple of years ago.
Career since leaving Molly Hatchet
The first band Bruce got involved with after Hatchet, was The Boneshakers in 1990, when he replaced Mark Watts
He subsequently performed with Daddy-O, Smilek, and the Dixie Jam Band. His main focus these days is as drummer in a praise group at his church, and his work as a real estate agent.

The latest is that Bruce's treatment is going well, and the tumour has reduced.

Feb 24 2004 - Bruce has revealed that he is in complete remission and thanks everyone for the kindness shown towards him.

Breaking news from Riff West as of November 24 is that six members of the original band are in rehearsal: Riff, Bruce, Dave, Duane, Steve, and Jimmy
Dave Hlubek dropped out of the project in January 2005...so the new band is the remaining five and Bruce's bandmate from Daddy-Oh, guitarist Linne Disse. They have named themselves after their classic song..."Gator Country Band" and kick off their career in style opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd on March 12 2005 in Orlando, FLA
