Linni Disse - Biography

This is a short bio on Linni - should be fleshed out soon

Date of Birth:  October 16 1964

Place of Birth:  Hopewell, VA

Early Years:    Linni's career as a musician was mapped out from a young age, when his father began to teach him to pick at the age of just four.

His interest in playing continued at a steady pace (although with many of the other things that keep kids interested!) until he got deeply into playing his chosen instrument by the age of 12

Resume of career

Linni has played around the circuit quite a bit over the years - the bands he played in were;

Justus
Tropical Johnson
Blue Light Special
The Press
Happy Van Gogh

Finally, Linni got the call, five years ago, to join good time party band Daddy-oh, a great band that featured among its number the legendary ex-Molly Hatchet drummer Bruce Crump

Linni played alongside Bruce for a number of years, and when Bruce fell ill with a serious case of throat cancer, Linni and the Daddy-Oh boys selflessly campaigned to raise money towards Bruce's medical expenses, culminating in a great benefit gig, including the Southern Rock Allstars amongst others

The Future:

In January 2005, the rumours were confirmed - some of the original Molly-men were getting back together to tour and enjoy themselves. Plans had to be changed slightly when Molly Hatchet founder Dave Hlubek opted not to participate and the hunt was on for a third picker - a hunt that led to Linni. The GCB will kick off their career in style opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd on March 12 2005 in Orlando, FLA

Good luck with the band buddy!
