Big Engine

Big Engine are a red-hot rock n roll machine based in Jacksonville, Florida consisting of singer-guitarist and band founder Tony Mikus, singer-guitarist Hans Oellerich, bassist Banner Thomas and drummer Benny Puckett
The driving force behind Big Engine since its inception over a decade ago is Tony Mikus, who has remained the surefire constant throughout the life of the band. Tony shares guitar duties with bandmate Hans Oellerich, who as a prodigiously talented 15 year old first jammed with Big Engine over a decade ago. He moved on to play in a few local bands before coming to the Big Engine staffroom in 1999 permanently as their lead player.
Bass sounds and masses of experience are provided by Banner Thomas, the legendary former Molly Hatchet musician. Banner has played in a number of other bands over the years including the SRR band with ex-Lynyrd Skynyrd picker Randall Hall, and the Flirtin with Disaster Band with Molly Hatchet colleague Dave Hlubek
The newest member of the band is Mr Benny Puckett on drums, who replaces longtime Engine stickman Neal Hale
The Engine have made numerous recordings over the years,2002's "Shifting into Overdrive" and "Spare Parts" as well as a live album this year "Live at Boot Hill Saloon". A Big Engine DVD is also in the pipeline for release shortly
